Healthy No-Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Recipe

Is there anything better than licking the last of the cake batter out of the bowl or breaking off just a smidge of that raw cookie dough before sliding the sheet into the oven? Call me impatient but eating the dessert before it’s even baked is the best part!

Unfortunately, we know that’s not always the safest strategy with concerns like salmonella and E. coli stemming from uncooked eggs and flour. Even the littlest taste, no matter how tempting, can carry harmful germs and lead to some serious illnesses.

Here comes the good news… we love the taste of uncooked cookie dough so much that we decided to make a HEALTHY no-bake chocolate chip cookie dough made from… CHICKPEAS.

And you actually won’t believe how amazing it tastes. So healthy, so delicious, and so safe!

Does No-Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Taste Like The Real Thing?

YES.

I know what you’re thinking. Chickpeas? But how? This edible cookie dough recipe is so unbelievably tasty, you can’t even detect them. They provide the perfect cookie consistency without all of the sugar that leaves you feeling guilty and craving even more sweet treats.

The almond butter, oats, and dark chocolate chips are truly the most mouth-water combination, and then you mix in the chickpeas for a high dose of protein and BAM. Can’t even taste ‘em!

Dare I say I like this no-bake chocolate chip cookie dough recipe even more than the real thing? And just wait… you will too!

This No-Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Is A New SkinnyFit Favorite

When we were experimenting with how to make edible cookie dough, we whipped these up at the SkinnyFit headquarters and decided to keep the chickpeas a secret until AFTER the taste test. (Don’t worry, we asked about food allergies first!).

After each member of our team popped a cookie dough ball into their mouths, we spilled the chickpea beans. To say the team was astonished is an understatement! They couldn’t believe this seemingly raw cookie dough was actually good for you and made primarily of chickpeas.

Seriously, we had to show them our stash of chickpea cans to prove it.

And then they asked for seconds…

But there’s one more incredible secret ingredient that makes this no-bake chocolate chip cookie dough recipe unbelievably unique and healthy. We added a couple of heaping scoops of SkinnyFit Super Youth Multi-Collagen Peptides to each batch!

With Super Youth’s amazing hair, skin, and nail, anti-aging, gut health, and joint and bone benefits, it was a no brainer. Dessert and beauty benefits? Uh, yes, please! Plus, Super Youth is tasteless so we simply mixed it in with the dough and made quite possibly the healthiest, most benefit-packed chocolate chip cookie dough in history.

The Best Edible Cookie Dough Recipe Out There

Another reason why an edible cookie dough recipe is the way to go: No wait time! Gone are the days of standing in front of the oven, peering inside to catch the cookies at just the right stage—right after they’ve started to rise but right before the bottoms turn crispy brown. And if you’re distracted for just one minute… BOOM… burned to a crisp.

Moment of silence for all of the burnt-bottom cookies out there. We still love you, but we love this healthy, protein-packed, beautifying, no-bake cookie dough recipe a whole lot more.
