This beauty is packed with juicy blueberries (hello, antioxidants!), fresh basil (because we’re fancy like that), and a chilled cup of Detox to give your body a little cleanse while you sip. And let’s not forget the tequila—because we’re not savages.

You know those moments when you just need to unwind, but you also don’t want to derail all the hard work you’ve put into your wellness goals? That’s where this drink comes in. It’s refreshing, naturally sweetened with honey or agave (no artificial junk here), and has a subtle herbal twist from the basil. Plus, it’s packed with detoxifying goodness, which basically means it cancels out the tequila… right?

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup fresh blueberries, rinsed
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 3-4 basil leaves, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Detox (chilled)
  • 1.5 oz blanco tequila
  • .5 oz triple sec (Cointreau is my favorite)
  • .5 oz honey or agave
  • Garnish: kosher salt and lime, for rim

Steps

  1. Add the first seven ingredients and muddle until the blueberries are smashed and the basil is well muddled. 
  2. Salt rim, pour margarita over ice, and garnish the top with extra blueberries and a lime wedge.
