We treat holidays like the Super Bowl in my family. Everyone is competing to have the best tree, the most delicious recipes, the strongest drinks. You name it, we go all out. I love the festivities of our usually friendly, sometimes not-so friendly competition, but I never went all out on one of our “sports” until last year. Enter the cranberry cream cheese dip.

I was ready to put my game face on and actually win an accolade for once, so I went with a low hanging fruit category—dips. Drinks were too risky, pastries weren’t my thing. But dips I felt like I could handle, and handle it, I did indeed!!

It’s made with cream cheese and sour cream (organic, if possible), my favorite collagen, chopped pecans, salt, cranberry sauce, and your favorite crackers. The recipe is so simple. All you have to do is whip all of the ingredients together (except the crackers and cranberry sauce) until light and fluffy. Once you transfer to your favorite holiday dish, pour the cranberry sauce over the top and serve with crackers.   • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 scoops Super Youth unflavored collagen
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • small pinch salt
  • 14 ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • Crackers for serving


  1. Using an electric mixer, mix cream cheese, sour cream, collagen, chopped pecans, and salt for 2 minutes or until light and fluffy. Spoon mixture into serving dish.
  2. Spread cranberry sauce evenly over the top. Serve with crackers.
