We treat holidays like the Super Bowl in my family. Everyone is competing to have the best tree, the most delicious recipes, the strongest drinks. You name it, we go all out. I love the festivities of our usually friendly, sometimes not-so friendly competition, but I never went all out on one of our “sports” until last year. Enter the cranberry cream cheese dip.

I was ready to put my game face on and actually win an accolade for once, so I went with a low hanging fruit category—dips. Drinks were too risky, pastries weren’t my thing. But dips I felt like I could handle, and handle it, I did indeed!!

This cranberry cream cheese dip recipe is no ordinary cream cheese dip. This one is award winning. It’s delicioussweet without being overpowering, and savory enough to wow the anti-sweets crowd.

The Best Holiday Dip Recipes

When I was thinking of which recipe to throw into the competition arena, the cranberry cream cheese dip recipe was just one of my many options. There are so many holiday dip options, that I had to pick one that wasn’t already perfected by a family member in the past. The options I considered were:

  • White queso bean dip
  • Cranberry jalapeno dip
  • Artichoke and crab dip
  • Cranberry cream cheese dip
  • Bacon ranch dip
  • French onion dip
  • Pumpkin cream cheese dip

What’s In Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip?

Cranberry cream cheese dip is a hit for many reasons. It’s a hit for simpleton chefs, like myself, for being incredibly simple to whip up. (This cranberry cream cheese dip recipe in particular is literally whipped.) It has very few ingredients, and most can be found around the house. Also, it’s delicious. Like, so good I was forced to make more mid-party delicious. It’s also quite versatile. The second batch I made, I made with jalapenos. It’s a popular way to spice up cream cheese dip, and you know spicy peoplethey go crazy for anything spicy, especially when they can show off just how much spice they can handle. Can you tell my family is competitive??

How To Make Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip Healthier

Time to get to what you’re really here for—the cranberry cream cheese dip recipe. It’s light, it’s delicious, and it’s what no one in my family expected it to be. Healthy. That’s right, this cranberry cream cheese dip is a better-for-you dip option. You know I don’t steer you wrong!

It’s made with cream cheese and sour cream (organic, if possible), my favorite collagen, chopped pecans, salt, cranberry sauce, and your favorite crackers. The recipe is so simple. All you have to do is whip all of the ingredients together (except the crackers and cranberry sauce) until light and fluffy. Once you transfer to your favorite holiday dish, pour the cranberry sauce over the top and serve with crackers. I bet you $100 no one will be able to tell that you snuck anti-aging, bone-healthy Super Youth collagen into it. It’s unflavored, so it’s masked by anything you cook or mix it with, including this delicious cream cheese dip. Once you start cooking with Super Youth, you’ll never stop. You get so many amazing benefits out of daily use, plus you’d never even know it’s in there.

I hope you love this recipe as much as my family did. And if you enter it into any contests, I expect an invite!
