3 Delicious Flavored Ice Cubes To Jazz Up Your Drink

Jump To Recipe

I live in sunny California and I LOVE it. ♥️ I feel very, as the kids say, #blessed, and everytime my mom asks me when I’m moving back to Illinois, I can’t help but laugh. I’m lucky enough to soak up the sun, the shine, and the pretty perfect weather 99% of the time. But this summer has been HOT—and I mean HOT. 🔥

Now I’m not complaining, that would be ungrateful of me, but my ice machine has been working overtime lately.

I’ve come up with plenty of fun, Instagram-worthy drink recipes for this hotter-than-most summer, but one of the main ingredients has always seemed to get the short end of the stick—ICE! Yes that’s right, ICE 🧊!

You can’t make a delicious, refreshing drink without ice, so why not make the ice the best ice it can be?! These easy flavored ice cube recipes are healthy, unique, and will set your drinks apart from the rest!

Types Of Flavored Ice Cubes

There are endless possibilities when it comes to flavored ice cubes, but here are a few of my favorites that come with some pretty awesome benefits!

1. Fruit-infused ice cubes

Have your fruit and drink it too! Fruit flavored ice cubes are such an easy way to get in essential antioxidants while staying hydrated at the same time.

Add some blueberries to your flavored ice cubes to help protect your body against free radicals, or toss in some fresh strawberries to give your immune system a beautiful boost. No matter what fruit you choose, fruit flavored ice cubes are a great way to make yourself want to drink more water!

2. Herb-infused ice cubes

Add herbs into your flavored ice cubes for a blast of refreshment and health benefits so tasty, you’ll forget they’re healthy! Pack in some nutrients to your diet by adding basil to your flavored ice cubes, or promote even more hydration by freezing in cucumber. Whatever herb you decide on, you’ll be giving your flavored ice cubes an intoxicating aroma with antioxidant protection!

3. Collagen ice cubes

Collagen supplementation helps smooth out skin and fine lines, strengthens bones and joints, promotes gut health, and helps keep us young and vibrant! What many people don’t realize, however, is that collagen powder comes in a variety of delicious flavors that can be added to water and smoothies. And, you guessed it—it even makes great flavored ice cubes!

SkinnyFit Super Youth collagen is available in a tropical punch, peach mango, and chocolate cake. So when you pack SkinnyFit’s delicious collagen flavors into your ice cubes, you’ve got collagen ice cubes with fountain of youth benefits and taste of the tropic feels!
