Enjoying a delicious popsicle on a hot summer day brings me back to childhood. I can see the inflatable pools filled with hose water, I can smell the sticky flavors from the dripping frozen treats, and I can feel how happy my taste buds were! As I’ve gotten older, popsicles have somehow been replaced with “healthy desserts”. Even though I love having goals and sticking to them, I started thinking about why I haven’t just made my own healthier version of the best summer desserts—popsicles.

So finally, I did. These peach mango popsicles are now one of my go-to healthy dessert recipes once summer hits. They’re delicious, good-for-you, and absolutely hit the spot.

How To Make This Sweet Summer Dessert

I’ve made so many healthy desserts that took hours of preparation and cooking, which is why I love this quick and easy recipe! Plus, the best summer desserts are ones you don’t have to turn the oven on for!

These popsicles take MAYBE 5 minutes to actually make, and then all you have to do is wait for them to freeze. Simply add fresh or frozen mango chunks, plain or vanilla yogurt, some honey, and two scoops of Super Youth collagen into a blender until smooth. The longest it should take is about 90 seconds. Pour the thick, creamy mixture into your favorite popsicle molds (or small paper cups with a spoon in it) and let freeze overnight or at least six hours. Once they’re done, pop them out and let the whole family enjoy! They’re sure to be everyone’s new favorite healthy dessert recipes.

Skin-Boosting? Tell Me More

That’s right, these bad boys can help beautify from the inside out. The ingredients are superfoods in my eyes for these skin healthy reasons:

Mango—just one cup of mango contains over 60% of your daily vitamin C intake. This special vitamin plays an important role in collagen production, which helps our skin look and feel hydrated, plump, and smooth.

Yogurt—this fermented ingredient is packed with B vitamins, including B2, B5, and B12. These help moisturize dull, dry skin, giving you a more radiant and youthful appearance.

Honey—this tasty, naturally antioxidant-rich substance is great for reducing oxidative stress in the body, including the skin. When skin is calmer, it can appear clearer, brighter, and healthier.

Collagen—consuming a good-quality hydrolyzed collagen like the one found in Super Youth is great for hair, skin, and nail health. It can help encourage skin clarity, strengthen our hair and nails, and improve overall glow. Yes, please!
